Libby cherishes her family, friendships and is a loyal sister in Christ. Believing for some time she was being prepared for an assignment specifically appointed to advance God’s Kingdom, she clearly heard His call to use her voice. With her path directed, she published Commanding Reverence in 2022 on a subject she’s passionate about and launched Penpoint Podcast in 2025. Libby has created a Bible Study based on her book and several curriculums for teaching and discipleship.  

Equipped by her unique personal journey and experiences in a diverse career spanning from hospitality to entrepreneurship, owning several small businesses over the last thirty years, Libby’s perspective is authentic, relatable and thought provoking. Her desire is to be obedient to Our Father and fulfill her purpose, while encouraging her readers, listeners and "neighbors" to do the same.

A native southerner, she attributes her fundamental core to traditions found in her upbringing (including no white after Labor Day, love of college football and pearls). When Libby isn’t at home in Indiana with her husband Curt, you’ll find her traveling to visit beloved family and friends.

Penpoint was created as a play on words from my last name and "penning" my book, Commanding Reverence, combined with my interest in other points of view, experiences and knowledge about Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Since Penpoint, LLC launched in late 2022, The Lord has blessed me with many opportunities to mentor, disciple and teach His Word.

At Penpoint, curriculum has been created around the principles of one of my favorite scriptures, 1 Corinthians 13...faith, hope and love! I also offer a Bible Study created from my book, Commanding Reverence based on The Ten Commandments. Biblical based mentorships, discipleship and my commitment to spreading the Word of God, as He commands in Matthew 28:19 is my goal. "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations."
